Martin Homestead Landscaping

After 30 years of doing my own landscaping, I finally gave in and hired a landscape architect to assist me with some heavy equipment and ideas to beautify 3 ugly banks.   The photos show the progress so far.  The Landscape Architect will  add the plants and ground cover. I will add the watering system,  cement curbs to retain the dirt , 8 inches of mulch to control the weeds and build all of the brick walls.  I got a chance to use my excavator skills.  My goal is to be done by mid-december.

Photos are shown as "Before and After " as much as possible

Moss Lane Street bank, removed the weeds and ground cover, placed large rocks

Widened the drive way, made room for a hugh rock and planter, goal is to stop people from turning onto the lawn

Good place to rest and drink coffee in the mornings, to enjoy the sun.

Removed 8 inches of dirt, will fill with driveway gravel. The Motorhome parking area was leveled.  Will put landscape brick between our Homestead and the neighbor.

Removed 8 inches of dirt which will be filled in with driveway gravel.  Build a rock wall, remainder of bank will be landscaping brick

Panguitch ,Utah- "Bryce ATC Rally " Off-Road event

Big change in scenery, On Sunday August 16th, I left Taylor Park Reservoir in the Rocky Mountains and headed to the city of Panguitch, Utah located in the valley between the Markagunt and Pausaugunt Plateaus to attend another Off road Rally.

Check out the links below if you are interested in the Panguitch settlement story, it’s very interesting, especially the Quilt Walk one.
