Taylor Park Reservoir , Colorado - "6th Annual Polaris RZR" Off-Road event

This is my 2nd year of attending the Polaris RZR Taylor Park, Colorado off road event. I was not disappointed.

Arrived Taylor Park Reservoir, which is 40 miles north east of Almont, Colorado, on 8/3/2015. Rested for a day, and then headed to the high country on the 5th. Since I was riding alone, I stayed out of the wilderness areas, however I still clocked in 45 miles of open picturesque trails. Tested my skills using my GoPro Hero 4 camera.

On the 3rd day I decided to put my RZR 800 Side X Side Quad to the test.  Decided to challenge the Tin Cup Pass, (Elevation 12.154) which is a butt jarring, rock climbing and water-crossing trail of approximately 45 miles, luckily, only 22 miles were butt jarring.

For the next few days, while waiting for my friends from Green Bay, Wisconsin to join me, I explored Taylor Park lower valley area.

On Saturday, August 8th, I took a leisure drive up to the high plains where the ranchers move their cattle for summer grazing. Didn’t see many cattle, however it was real peaceful and I stopped to rest and have lunch. Well worth the 1-½ hours to get there.

From the 9th to the 15thof August, my friends and I took to the Colorado Sawatch Range. This strip of the Continental Divide contains fifteen 14er's (14,000 foot Peaks) The Sawatch peaks are famous for their spectacular views and recreational trails. Trails at the top are fairly easy; it’s getting up and down the passes that is real challenging, a lot of rock climbing and water crossings.

I have divided up my photos by the various trails we have ridden.  Hope you enjoy them.
