2021 November Storms

 Welcome to My World

Had a  busy few months on the Martin Homestead. Besides the normal yard maintenance, we had 2 big pre-winter storms. 1st storm wasn’t too harsh, however the 11/16 storm had sustained winds of 45 to 65 mph. Just as I was finishing up cleaning the debris from the 10/9 storm, the 11/16 storm hit. Beside the Homestead being covered with pine needles, pinecones and branches (we have in excess of 65 trees which produce plenty of needles and cones) a 35-foot section of a tree top broke. I was kept busy raking debris and mulching branches.

Picked up 17 cart loads of branches in addition to 168 cubic feet of pinecones and needles.
