Priest Gulch - Henrick/Harper Family Reunion

Time to relax and update my Blog

Beautiful place to spend some relaxing time

After spending 2 weeks in Silverton, Colorado riding the trails and exploring the mines, I decided to accept Joe & Paula’s invitation to join them at Priest Gulch, Colorado for their family reunion.  I had a great time relaxing, hiking, fishing and just sitting around sharing stories.

In attendance :Joe and Paula, Joe’s son (Jason) and his family of 5, Paul’s son (Mat) and his family of 5, Paula’s daughter (Michelle) and her family of 3, Joe’s neighbor (Brad & Susan), Joe’s elementary school friend Ed and myself.

We all had such a good time we are going to do it again next year. Reservations are already made.

We decided to take a day to play tourist. Telluride, Coloradao, about an hours drive north of Priest Gulch was the location of choice,  First thing we did was ride the gondola up to the top to Station Mountain and had lunch.

Leaving Station Mountain to catch the Telluride gondola back down to Telluride city. To get to Station Mountain you have to take 2 gondola rides to the top.

We toured the town a little, then headed back to Preist Gulch for the evening gathering.  Good time was had by all.
